Thank you for the reply. I have load balancers for my production deployment, but I am very intrigued by CLUSTERIP. Thus I am testing it and playing around with it. I did some patching of CLUSTERIP for CentOS 5 to make it more stable. http://ben.timby.com/?p=73 I will try your suggestion (resource-stickiness) and yes, httpd is distributed evenly, CLUSTERIP is the sticking point. I think I am going to try to implement a new parameter for IPaddr2 called 'elastic'.
