Jolly New Year to all ! Taken from Florian's excellent and once direly needed Heartbeat v3 user guide at:
http://people.linbit.com/~florian/heartbeat-users-guide/re-hacf.html .... it tells us that ... "compression: The compression directive sets which compression method will be used when a message is big and compression is needed..." "If this directive is not set, there will be no compression." My Qs to the list's regular panel of Heartbeat experts: - if not already set/enabled, when should compression be seriously considered and enabled ? - how much can I afford to NOT compress, i.e to save a few cpu cycles for other tasks ? Thank you all for your precious contribution. _______________________________________________ Linux-HA mailing list [email protected] http://lists.linux-ha.org/mailman/listinfo/linux-ha See also: http://linux-ha.org/ReportingProblems
