CfS doesn't much touch upon performance, and I don't see any need to -- it's a good document to get you started, and shouldn't be overloaded with too much nitty-gritty performance optimization stuff. Besides, as you're aware, performance optimization in HA clusters usually touches upon many things that aren't related to Pacemaker at all, such as storage and I/O stack optimization, network stack tuning, filesystem mount options, database tuning specific to HA, and other things.
