>From the manual of my modems I read: "The character format is 8 bits, no parity, one stop bit at 9600 bps. Hardware flow control is always active on the serial port" Minicom does not work with Hardware flow control activated, too, as I said, but probably you're right, it has to be activated, the problem is elsewhere. The only software provided is for windows, it works, but I have to use free software for Linux (it's the aim of a project).
