The only reason I recommend GTK+ 1.2 is that (a) I use it for development
and know that its OK with mtrack, and (b) Carl Makin (IIRC) tried it with
an older release of GTK+, 1.0.2 I think, and some of the dialogue boxes
didn't look right and were unusable.

BTW the following isn't aimed at you Hamish, they're just general comments.

So try it with whatever version of GTK+ you have and if it works, great, if
not upgrade GTK+. I would be interested in knowing which is the minimum
version of GTK+ that will work with mtrack. Bear in mind that I am adding
some new GTK+ widget types to mtrack to improve its look and feel and that
may trip up earlier versions.
