I have LinuxNode 0.3.0 installed and it disconnects the users calling
via AX.25. It reports a message in syslog:

...
Jul 13 16:27:21 tequila ax25d[6479]: AX.25 CT1BPT-8 (uhf1) node
Jul 13 16:27:22 tequila node[6479]: Unsupported address family 40560
...

  I have the following config:
    kernel 2.2.9
    glibc 2.1.1pre3
    libax25-0.0.5
    ax25d from ax25-tools-0.0.3

I had this problem even with ax25utils-2.1.42a. It worked well when the
kernel was 2.0.36.
After upgrading kernel, LinuxNode (from ax25util-2.1.42a) answered AX.25
calls only sometimes. The other times reported the same error in syslog.
So, I can only receive via TCP/IP.

My computer is an i486 with SCC Card (modem1: 1k2, modem2: 9k6) and an
ethernet card.

  Anyone has this problem?

  Jorge Matias (CT2HBZ)
