Soundmodem manchester afsk1200

Does anyone know how hard it would be to supplement the AFSK1200 mode
with Manchester encoding?  I tried e-mailing the listed author of the
soundmodem source (Thomas Sailer ([EMAIL PROTECTED])) and never
received a response.

This is a simple modification to make in hardware, so I can't imagine
it taking a lot of coding to do; I'm just not familiar enough with what
goes on in those soundmodem sources to make the change myself.
