Thank you to everyone who responded to my plea for help. In a crisis,
its nice to know I'm not alone.
Filepro does some things with setuid permissions and has to be run with
an effective uid of filepro. Somehow, something in the permissions got
changed when I moved it from the old machine to the new (the diskettes
have been lost.) I changed all the executables in the /appl/fp dir to
setuid filepro and it works like a charm. I could probably have gotten
by with just changing drunmenu, but its working and I don't want to
touch it.
