Hello iBCS fans,

I'm trying to compile iBCS which I downloaded from tsx-11.mit.edu.  I tried several of the files on their site.  One in particular is ibcs-2.1-981105.tar.gz

I copied CONFIG.i386 to CONFIG and commented out the emulations I didn't need (like EMU_X286).

When I type "make" to compile it I get the following errors.
../include/ibcs/ibcs.h:47: warning: function declaration isn't a prototype (these scroll by the whole time it's compiling)
I also get other errors like this.
sysi86.c:131: warning: assignment makes pointer from integer without a cast

When it gets done I type "make install" and it does its thing.
Then I type "modprobe iBCS" and get error
no dependency information for module: "/lib/modules/2.2.14/misc/iBCS"

Can someone give me some pointers?
I'm using Caldera 2.3 with Kernel 2.2.14.  I've also tried it on Caldera 1.3, 2.2, 2.3, Red Hat 5.2, and 6.0.
Same errors on all of the above.

I've posted in the past and some of you have e-mailed me suggestions.
Thank You - but I'm needing more help.

Malcolm
