once in a while (I'd say about once a week) my system (RH 5.2 on
a 200MMX) says something like this :
/dev/hda* (I have several partitions) has reached maximal
mount count, check forced.
after checking (which takes the system quiet a while - something like
1.5 min. - I have a large hd - about 1.5GB dedicated for
linux) everything is ok, and next time I boot - no problem.
the system dual boots linux and win95.
needless to say I shut the system down nicely with 'halt' or
'shutdown now -h'.
do you know why this is happening ?
