I just recieved a new PCMCIA card - 3com 3CCE589E - pcmcia module is installed OK and I could see the card with cardctl ident. It was identified as 3com Megaherz 589E. I had checked my /etc/pcmcia/config file- it has such a line but the card light will not go on even if I try to ifconfig eth0 to up status. Anybody solved the case ?
