As far as I know new kernels does not write the correct time to the bios clock every 11 min even if the system has a good time reference (ntp or such). This is contrary to what older kernels used to do. Can someone give a good reference to prove whether I am right or wrong? I tried the kernel docs but was not been able to see any relevant stuff. ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
