I would object to that!

True.

I'm all for Matan's work on his word processor and I congratulate him for
his work, and wish him all the best with his word processor.
But, I would like to take this chance and tell one thing:
Linux, specially in Israel CANNOT and WILL NOT go mainstream without hebrew
support - pure and simple. I know MANY companies who wants to release some
of their products in Israel - for Linux - but they cannot without Hebrew.
There are companies that want to release products for the desktop users
(like accounting, management sessions, etc) - but as I said - they can't.
The hebrew support writing is a daunting and frustrating one - I've heard
it all over.
So I read that Matan is going to write a simple word processor - thats
nice, but all I said is that instead of re-inventing the wheel - just to
join one of the already existed projects - in KOffice, for example - 70% of
work has been done, if someone could help them with the Hebrew/Arabic
support - then we'll have a win win situation in here - then we could start
pushing real hard (and I know that I WOULD do that - I give u my honour
word for that) Linux in Israel.
Thats what I have to say.
