Hi people..

I have:
- A working ADSL line & Atur3 modem.
- A SuSE 7.0 w/Kernel 2.4.2 box, with assigned IP 10.200.1.1/8
- The ability to telnet to the ADSL modem.
- pppd 2.3.11 (that came with the SuSE distro)
- The source & compiled binary of linux-pptp-1.0.2 (after ATUR3 code
        modifications)
- The source & compiled binary of mulix-pptp-1.0.2
- The following in /var/log/messages:

== End Snip

I also have:
- A ppp kernel module (in 2.4.2 it's called ppp_generic). As the
log shows, It loads if I ask it nicely.
- A printed, read and memorized copy of Mulix's ADSL howto.
- An immense and unexplained desire to see this working.

Can anyone
help/point-at-docs/tell-me-where-to-kick/flame-me-for-something-lame-I-did?

When I tried working with PPP support inside the kernel, pptp
unsuccessfully tried to load the PPP module.
Also, do I need the PPP over Ethernet compiled in? or any other 2.4.x
ppp-tagalong drivers?

thx.
