I have the SuSE 6.1 CD 's & and I'm within reach of SuSE 6.4 CD 's--both have an option for an 40MB installation which include gcc and glibc (not sure about networking apps). Both claim to be able to run on i386. This option is sustained by Yast (Yast2 on 6.4) .
