A number of comments

1. Good reading. Quite a good introduction

2. a little issue with the hebrew: there is basically one difference
between microsoft's version of bidiorectional hebrew and the standard
version: the case of HEBREW-digit. e.g: á-8
This looks OK in MS Hebrew, but not in unicode Hebrew. To be best standard
conforming you should write it B-<RLM>8

3. "Today most of the many developers that develop for linux focus in two
working environments": correct for the desktop, not so much on the
embedded and not so much relevant for server applications. All-in-all you
ofcus in linux on the desktop. Maybe change the title accordingly.

4. Browsers: There are a number of mozilla-based browser, most notably
Galeon, which is the more common on the gnome environment (what about
nautilus)

5. You mention that gnome 2 will be ready on march, and you also mention
Evolution+Ximina Connector. When will both be available for *Gnome 2*?

6. everybody: anybody with a good description of Gnome Office?

7. You only mention the name StarOffice, and not OpenOffice (most distros
will probably ship with OpenOffice)

8. Development environments: You neglect to mention the traditional unix
development environment. Rational: linux distro typically comes with
better-configured programs. Whoever worked with those programs under unix
(and spent too long configuring them them) or worked with emacs etc. under
windows may be surprised to see what he gets in linux out-of-the-box.

9. I believe that you slightly over-rate integrated development
environments. You also don't clearly seperate "developing in KDE from
"developing for KDE"

10. links: Maybe add a list of relevant links in the end

* some linux portals
* kde
* gnome
* IGLU
* gnu
* openoffice

etc.
