Such as? does it complain about the GCC? there's an option to ignore detection
of gcc.
BTW - if you look at www.mplayerhq.hu - you can find RPMS for mplayer.
I've used PLF RPMs and mplayer complains about problem with its configuration file. after editing it and commenting out all of its 'parsing errors' it works but only plays MPEG1/2 files. I'll check into it later if I have the time - its really very low priority for me as I can get Xine to do anything I want, including DVD with menu navigation.
