Hello all I have a question regarding postfix and DNS servers.
I'm running postfix, and I'm trying to get it to use a specific DNS server. Try as I might, I can't seem to convince it to use the DNS server in /etc/resolv.conf - it goes to the DNS installed on the machine, as tcpdump confirms. How does postfix decide on the DNS server to use? I couldn't make it out. Oh, and /var/spool/postfix/etc/resolv.conf is linked to /etc/resolv.conf TIA -- Arik
