Someone recommended "The Linux TCP/IP Stack: Networking for Embedded Systems" by Thomas F. Herbert on my blog. I haven't read it yet, though I plan to. You can find some more good kernel books at http://www.livejournal.com/users/mulix/125287.html?mode=reply > Do you know if there is a simpler stack to follow > just for the sake of learning? No, but having a userspace stack to play with (e.g. running the Linux TCP/IP stack under UML) is very useful. Cheers, Muli -- Muli Ben-Yehuda http://www.mulix.org | http://mulix.livejournal.com/
