Indeed, there's the matter of revocation: If someone steals my password (or
private key, etc.), I can get a new one, with relatively little hassle.

If someone manages to duplicate my biometric information, I'm in trouble...

The word 'mass' is not part of elections.
Consider the Electorals method in the US. What if it was a one vote
difference. On a tie, the chairmen of Congress becomes the president as far
as I know ( and it actually doesn't matter for this debate ). Now consider
his motivation.

Beside, sever body damage is only one aspect of Biometric Identification you
should consider. As I mentioned yesterday, there are also cultural problem,
'Big brother' problem and more.
