It's neither. It's a binary only driver called "a320raid". Damn.

No, they don't. I haven't managed to install RedHat AS3 either, nor FC3. I'm just as stuck with those.

Oddly this is
the first non-free driver to come out of Adaptec in years, I don't know
what came over THEM either.


There were some references on the web citing some licensing issues. Go figure.

Being as it is that I bought this machine, for quite a bundle I might add, with an explicit promise that it is Linux certified, I'm not sure I'm not going to ship it right back now.
