The VID and PID are simply the device's USB vendor ID and device ID. And there are two sets of that because loading the firmware may change the device ID, right? lsusb shows a device with those vendor/product IDs. I tried playing with the alternate config number. Still no luck. From what I can see it sends a control message and then fails to send the contents of the firmware file through a certain bulk transfer. > > From the error you show, the firmware is not loaded correctly.
