Hi Chaim,
Iriat Yerushalayim seems to have the same problem.
I suggest that you send a letter to Itzik Cohen at the office of the
Hashav HaClali in the MoF. He is aware of the problem and is sympathetic.
The root of the problem is that each government ministry controls it's
own web site with great jealously and uses the cheapest personnel possible
for building the sites. From here to IE only websites is a very short
distance. Note that they use the cheapest possible personnel, not that
they spend the least on building the sites. This is because the tenders
(michrazim) are for the personnel, not for the sites. The sites themselves
are probably more expensive to build and less functional that they might
be if they were built by tender.
Regards,
- yba

The Misrad HaPnim site seems not to support firefox.
http://www.pnim.gov.il/
The entire site shows up crunched into a 4cm high area. Most of the text is
visible in a small scrollbar area. The footer is not visible.
I would like to know if anyone else has these problems with the site using
Firefox. And if there is anyone to complain to. Shouldn't the Gov. not be
party to supporting monopolistic behavior?
Chaim
