Seems like you mix RHEL5 (Mar 2007) with old Red Hat Linux 5 (Nov 1997).

David referred to RHEL5, which like its predecessors will be
supported (in different support levels) for 7 years.

It's latest update is RHEL5.2 (released 21 May, 2008)
