Where did Bilski take us? Patentability of software related inventions Abstract In the last two decades patenting software relations invention in the US was a flourishing business. Recent ruling by Federal Court and its affirmation in the Supreme Court of the US may seriously affect this. We will review the current legal status of software related patents in the US in view of this ruling as well as relate to the legal status in Europe and Israel.
