Hi Sagar,
                No need to put the script in rc.local, just make a ppp
device with netcfg ( in X ) or netconf in the console and just select the
option 'start at boot' and Redhat will activate the ppp connection whenever
it boots and also reconnect whenever the connection is dropped...
