Thoda trouble hain. I request all of you to please quote the model/make
of
56 K modems which are known to work well [preferably by first hand
experience]
with both Linux and HP-UX. Preferably without any kind of drivers [Or
are the
drivers always required]?
Please also write to me a couple of lines about how you installed those.
I am supposed to decide today which modem to buy. [rs232 compatible for
the machine here]
What we have are 3Com 5668 V90 56K and 3Com sportster 56K [both
external] and I strongly suspect that these are winmodems. The 3Com site
also calls these Winmodems.. so naturally I am frightenred.
All of you, please help me. You may write to me personally/onlist. But
do reply guys. It is urgent.
