the RAMDAC is for 2D only. My card hangs only when i
switch to 3D mode. In 3D mode, there is a different
clock speed, in fact its a different circuitry
altogether. In 3D mode there is no pixel clock, as
we're not sending pixels, to the card, but triangles,
textures, and other kinds of geometry... There is a
way to underclock the card by some environment vars.,
but the code for the driver doesn't allow that yet.
Its bad to see that I can under/overclock my card in
doze... :( NEwayz... i got a floor fan, and looks like
i'm gonna keep that beside my box, all opened up and
all... ;-) I'll keep u guys updated with the results
(if u want.. ;-)
