In my office we have a Win98 system with 4.3 GB HDD with C: drive 2
GB and D: drive 2.3 GB with 64 MB RAM.
The display Adapter card is Intel(R) 810 Chipset Graphics driver
4.11.01.2523.

I tried to install RedHat 6.2 with PCQUEST June CD but I couldn't do
the graphical installation. The CD got ejected and
a message came that it couldn't open display. Then I tried the text
installation.

I gave the timezone(Asia-Calcutta), Keyboard configuration, Mouse
configuration, I gave the root password and I added a normal user and
after that It extracted all the required files from the CD and after
all files were extracted, in the Post install the program terminated
abruptly and the CD got ejected and the
message was "Abnormal program termination. Sending all processes kill
signals . Unmounting file systems . Ejecting
CD ROM. It is now safe to reboot your computer" .

I used FDISK to do the partition and I allocated 1.2 GB forLinux and
the rest for Windows in D: drive.
In PCQUEST CD it is said that Support is there for Intel 810 Chipset
based PCs.

Kindly help in this matter.

Regards
N.S.Suresh
