We had discussed about this a few days back. search the archives
of this list for "certification".
IMO linux (or any other computer based application) can be learnt
best only by itself. If u are planning for training, hopefully any
institute will make a fortune out of u, provide only the basics of unix.
I don't think they will ever allow to install linux let alone let u
administer a machine. Plus limited hours on computer. etc .......
The best solution is to purchase your own computer, get a few
books on unix, linux. Install, Upgrade, experiment. Get an internet
connecton. If u want to learn the networking in depth, get one or two
486's after some time when you learn the basics, setup a small network and
enjoy.
And all this you can do much within the amount you are going to
pay to a coaching institute. Alongwith the computing/experimenting time of
24x7. And nowdays every computer comes with a free VCD player, audio CD
player and video game.

But if u insist maybe someone else will come with an answer.

Linux is best learn on your OWN with the guru's out there always ready
to help you :-)
