Hello friends,
I am new to linux and having RedHat 6.2 installed in Celeron 366 with
D-Link DFM-560E modem.
I use (i know only that) kppp utility to dialup to VSNL, Banglaore.
While connecting to VSNL I get connection and the modem does
handshake. But after that it gets disconnected. I got the modem
initlization string (AT5E05C0F10=250) got from D-Link office.
Can any one analyse what is the exact problem.
Some of the entries:
Authentication : PAP
Modem device : /dev/ttys1
Flow control : XON/XOFF
Line Transmi... : CR/LF
Connect.. Speed : 57600
