hi all,
I have a RHL 6.1 Running Sendmail / FTP/ HTTP and other basic services.
This server is acting as a internet gateway to my netwrok. It was all running
well, but from past 2 days, the Speed of the server is slow.
When i say Speed, i mean , when i do a telnet to the server or do a FTP to the
server or try to check mails from the server thru POP3. It takes a long time.
The telnet/FTP takes a long time to show the login prompt and when i Check
mails thru POP3, that too takes a long time.. it even timed out in one case.
BUT the ping works fine ...!!
Where and what could be problem and soltuion for the same..!!!
