Begun experimenting with procmail BUT have not got anywhere
It would be nice if someone could look at my config files
my .forward is
"|IFS=' ' && exec /usr/bin/procmail -f- || exit 75 #root"
my .procmailrc is
VERBOSE=on
MAILDIR=$HOME/mail
PMDIR=$HOME/.procmail
LOGFILE=$PMDIR/log
INCLUDERC=$PMDIR/rc.testing
INCLUDERC=$PMDIR/rc.maillists
my rc.testing is
:0:
* ^Subject:.*test
IN.testing
The said directories are in place and the permissions are fine
BUT root is not getting any mail with subject test or otherwise - they are
all accumulating in /var/spool/mail/mail file (note the extra mail)
