open an Xterm / Konsole under KDE and run "switchdesk".. the rest should be
easy

[o]Also i have jdk1_2_2 for linux whenever i wish to uncompress
[o]it using 'tar'
[o]it seems to have a dislike over it
I think it is in the bzip2 format. man bzip
