RHL 6.1 need a tweaking in the /etc/conf.modules
add these lines to it, and restart
alias parport_lowlevel parport_pc
options parport_pc io=0x378 irq=none,none

if ur modem is jumpered, try disabling ur internal
com 2 and setting this there, or if it is pnp
go ahead and try setserial inside linux after switching ur
internal com2 to com3 or 4 (change the IO/IRQ in bios setup)

none has, u can do this using fdisk from linux
it self. run fdisk on ur '/dev/hda' and delete the
linux partition, then reboot the system to dos and
do fdisk /mbr from dos (or safe mode dos of win95/98)
to remove lilo.
