I just did that yesterday - with slakware 7.1. All you have to do is to nfs
mount a remote partition (install the nfs-utils and portmap rpms, then create a
file /etc/exports, which has the directory which you want to mount on nfs)

suresh@mjollnir:~> cat /etc/exports
/home/suresh/slakware

Then, start nfs, nfslock and portmap services (all under /etc/rc.d/init.d in
redhat). When you install the linux on your remote computer, make sure the
network drivers are downloaded (in slakware, there's a separate disk image
called network.dsk you have to burn onto a floppy, other than the slak root
 and boot images).

Assign an IP (and netmask) to your comp, and give the remote ip of the comp on
which your nfs mount point resides. Then give the directory in which the
 slakware directories are (say /home/suresh/slakware)

Go right ahead with the rest of the installation. The procedure is quite
similar in redhat (you even have a point and click gui instead of the color.gz
 menu slak gives you)
