Suresh, that sig was uuencoded - not mime encoded. Outlook has this
(mis?)feature of looking into mail and decoding these on the fly. Mail
clients are supposed to do that only for mime encoded messages, with
the Content-Type: header.

If that sig were mime encoded with the proper separator et al, even mutt
would have identified it as an attachment.
