I don't know whether this is the proper mail address to post my query.
I'm greatly in need of help regarding Sendmail and Perl Sendmail
Milter.I've written one mailfilter script, which runs in the
background, using milter with sendmail which will block,forward and
auto respond for various users according to their settings in our
database.
I've installed Sendmail 8.11.0. Sendmail:Milter is also configured
on my mail server. But my milter script is not beeing invoked if I'm
sending mails to local users (Mail is being send using my php based
script which calls it's own mail() function ). For outgoing mails ,
milter script is being invoked. When I'm using pine to send mails, for
both local & outgoing mails , my milter script is executed. Why for pine
it works fine and for other methods it's not ?
How can I make sendmail milter to function even if the mails are sent
locally using PHP mail() function ? Should I change any sendmail
configuration file ?
I don't know whether I've clearly written or not.
