I'm trying to configure Vishvakarma. the documentation is for the older version of
ldap. Could anyone tell me what changes to make for OpenLDAP-2.0.7 to get entries
added correctly?
I have to move a few thousand entries from an access db to the LDAP
db. So this will have to be done programmatically.
I have followed the install guide, made appropriate changes in
sendmail.cf. The OpenLDAP has been compiled from source. I created the
required directories and the ldif file as specified.
When I try to add using slapadd, I get:
slapadd: database (dc=hostname,dc=domainname,dc=topdomain) not configured to hold
dc="dn=topdomain" (line=5)
hostname, domainname and topdomain have correct values for the domain.
With debug level = 9, the additional information is:
str2entry(dc=topdomain)->0x80df00
