IMHO, this newsgroup is a total waste - very low traffic, and the only
articles that get posted are usually from newbies who cannot tell the
difference between a mutt problem from a vim problem.
You are far better off reading comp.mail.pine - some great, well
written articles appear there that are of a general nature (meaning
not related to pine as such). Some of the recent threads I found useful
there are: about integrating GPG into full screen console mail clients,
IMAP over SSL and IMAP PREAUTHENTICATE state (search googlenews or
whatever deja.com has become nowadays).
You will find Mark Crispin personally posting there - he is the author
of almost all IMAP related RFCs, and the guy who wrote most of Pine and
UW-IMAPd).
