it's a ttf font. i can view tamil text with fonts in
other encoding, but not this one. even if i can see
the text without junk characters, i think i'll be able
to convert it to docbook format. in fact, i posted
this query a week ago in the linuxdoc mailing list,
but got no response.
for the present, i think i'll just make it plain text
and upload it to my homepage as i said, with the font.
