Due to problems with my email id, i m repeating this question?
I have a RH 6.2 DHCP SERVER, DNS caching Server, IPChains enabled, on a P3
500, 64 MB RAM, BX 440 mboard, with a win98 dual boot on a 4.3 GB HDD. Which
was configured using PCQ Articles, and is really performing good. Now i m
trying to configure SQUID as a transparent proxy, but unfortunately, m not
able to configure it properly. Though, i have followed the steps mentioned on
the articles, i m still have some doubts.
1. Apart frm the 4 changes in SQUID.CONF, is there any other change needed?
2. Do i have to remove the IPCHAINS rules i have set for DNS Caching Name
Server?
3. Is there anything i have skipped?
Pls guide me.
