hi, i have a problem. i have two machines. one samba linux server(digital) and a windows 95 machine(ash). when i give ping ash from my server it works (even with ping ip address). But when i give ping digital from my windows machine, it gives command "Bad ip address", but when i give ping ip-address of digital it works fine. i have went through both the /etc/host and c:\windows\hosts.sam the same problem exist when i try to ping from other unix machines can you help me bye kiran ===== __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
