I was compiling some GNOME apps, don't remeber exactly, and run into header
file conflicts.
X apps were especially troubles. Did compile few things successfully but got
tired of mdk tag everywhere and dumped RHL6.2 on it. This was way back,
somewhere last August...
It doesn't have many headers etc in (mostly expected) places. Everything is
tweaked and may not work with third party sources.
May be I should have RTFMed but didn't bother. I was not especially fan of
Mandrake then. Anyway now trying Mandrake 8 for kernel+XF864+KDE2+Reiserfs. I
can afford few source incompatibilities if any.....;-)
