I have 28.8 ISa Plug & play internal modem (Sierrar SQ
3465). When I use KPPP it detects the modem in all
ports but as Its detected on Com3 (in win/dos) linux
shows modem is busy.
Further more I installed the default packages in RH
7.0 installation but Netscape won't run in KDe but it
runs smoothly in gnome.
I have ALS 4000 PCI sound card plz tell me way to
configure it as thanx to u ppl I got the ALSA PROJECT
but iam newbie to linux so plz tell me whether i can
install this sound card easily or not.
Iam also interested in learning linux plz advise some
famous books for beginners level on linux running,
installation & maintenance (other than linuxdoc.org
HOWTO's) I can't absorb them.
