What are the PCQ providing? .debs, .tgz or .rpms ?? How did
you install it? dpkg -i ?? or .tgz files with Xinstall.sh ??
Be a little more specific. Also, when it hangs,
are you able to switch to another VT? If that's possible,
first remove the xdm from init scripts by running
update-rc.d -f xdm remove.
Then, you should be able to fiddle with xf86config and
XF86Config. My bet would be not to use any display managers
at all, and do startx only when you need X, or want to enjoy X. ;-)
I too am in Debian - X4 - i810. Happy and Content. :-)
Once upon a time, linux max <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> found a keyboard. And typed:
