Hey linuxers,
I need some urgent help with mandrake8. I installed
it. Everything went perfectly during and after
installation. The only problem iv been facing is that
the display doesn�t fit onto my 14-inch monitor. i
understand that its for a 21-inch monitor by default.
i also fced this problem on 5 more machines i
installed on. so i supose that many of u out there hav
also faced it.
i'm a bit of a newbie. so i rally cant help myself.
i'd appreciate ur help urgently.
here's some details that might help.
i have a Hansol(Mazellan 401A) Monitor.
Monitor : Generic | High Frequency SVGA, 1022
x 768 @ 70Hz.
Resolution : 1024 x 768 @ 15bps
Graphic Memory : 16384 KB (i have 4MB of VDO
Ram)
XFree86Driver : i810
SFree86Server : SVGA
plese keep in mind thatim a bit of a newbie.
