Hello Linux Gurus,
I am quite new to Linux and have installed Slackware 7 on my PC few days
back.I have my X server up and running.
I have SiS 530 motherbord which has 3d agp video card in-built .
While running xf68config I used SVGA card which is giving me modes "640x480"
"800x600" "1024x768" umder modes with each depth 8,16,24 and 32.I changed
the sequence of the modes under each depth so that higher resulution comes
first.Then when i press cntrl-alt-keypad-+ the resolution does not
increase/decrease as it should .What could be wrong??
I am also having problem in setting up my modem which is D-Link DMF-336/E
33.6Kbps.I ran the command minicom in xterm and could get into various
options.
Can anybody guide me send his expert comments on this so that I can connect
to internet through dialup.Also if there are anymore setting requied for ppp
configuration do let me know so that I do them.
