Hi there!

this mornig after a reboot due to a power cut (shutdown had been done
properly) I got following message:"/dev/hda5 contains a file system with
error, check forced"

After the check was over, I got "/dev/hda5:UNEXPECTED INCONSISTENCE; RUN
fsck MANUALLY ( i.e. without -a or -p option)
give root password for maintenance.

How do I run fsck manually?

When I #fsck <enter>, I get Parallelizing fsck version 1.18 and I am
returned to the prompt #

I use Mandrake 7.1 on an Intel MB SE440BX-2 and had no problems for the past
couple of months.

Thanks in advance for help.

John Hanon
