Minicom is not a mailer. It is a commn program.

There are three independent things MTA, MDA and MUA ...

These are basic doubts ... Please read the HOWTO files in your
/usr/doc  or /usr/share/doc  (as applicable  for your  distro)
for Mail-HOWTO,  Mail-User-HOWTO and Mail-Administrator-HOWTO.
These  will  clarify  most  of the  fundamentals  involved  in
mailing. Once this bit of RTFM is over, we can talk about more
resources on the net. These should be enough to get you going.

Sorry, to be curt ... this mail otherwise would take two weeks
to reply with all fundas clarified.
